introduction
Having crossed from the valley to La Rigole over the little bridge, one happens upon the « Borde Pouzaque » on the bend of a winding country lane. Built in the early 19th century, it is a perfect example of a typical Lauragais farmstead. It lies in an exceptionally attractive site with panoramic views over the Pyrenees and the Black Mountain.
The exterior has conserved its traditional aspect whereas the interior has just recently been refurbished in a minimalist while homely, contemporary style. It offers an ideal environment for those seeking a little aesthetic calm and countryside to roam.
The older-style buildings have been converted into two independant units, « l'Appartement » and « le Loft », boasting all the creature comforts. The former barn, « La Grange » has been transformed into a large open-space conducive to art exhibitions, business seminars etc.
